Antietam Elementary School Counseling Program: Mission Statement

Mission Statement

It is the mission of the school counseling program at Antietam Elementary School to provide access to a comprehensive developmentally appropriate program for all students. We will respect equally, the unique qualities of each student. As school counselors, we serve as advocates for the students by collaborating with other educators, the families of students, and members of the community to seek the students’ best interest. By focusing on the three domains: academic, personal/social and career, we strive to provide all students with the skills, knowledge, and attitude to achieve success in school, to become life-long learners, and to become responsible members of our local community as well as the global community.
